Bank statement posted by an agent — with a stop-check

A multi-company accounting environment: five accounting entities across two countries, six accountants working concurrently on one server we personally operate. Over 20,000 invoices and 120,000 line items have passed through the system — and bank statements are now posted by an agent.

Pain

Retyping statements is routine work that eats hours and breeds typos. One mistyped cent becomes a discrepancy someone hunts for a week later. With hundreds of transactions a month, that hunt is never easy.
